Position Overview: The Minnesota Center for Philosophy of Science (MCPS) seeks to hire an Administrative Specialist (1826: LR-Clerical) responsible for supporting the Principal Investigator (PI) on the MCPS research project "Consortium for Advancing a Science of Purpose" (CASP). The Administrative Specialist is responsible for booking venues, menus, and accommodations for all conferences, workshops, and events related to CASP, along with collecting, documenting, and submitting related travel reimbursements and processing honoraria. This position reports to and works closely under the direction of the project PI and MCPS Director, Alan Love. This is a 75% time position (30 hours/week). Flexible work arrangements can be negotiated. This position is temporary with an expected end date of 12/31/2025. The Minnesota Center for Philosophy of Science is located on the West Bank of the Minneapolis campus of the University of Minnesota. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Plan workshop/conference/summit communication and organization (70%)
Financial Administrative Support of Faculty and the grant (20%)
Provide research and administrative support for CASP and faculty (10%)
