Overview

The Warehouse Receiving and Cycle Count Supervisor is a critical role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the receiving and cycle count functions within the warehouse. This includes ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, and reporting metrics and leading a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, keen attention to detail, knowledge of writing and maintaining Receiving and Cycle Count procedures, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.

Base Pay Range: 68,000 - 80,000

The above reflects the pay range that QSC reasonably expects to pay for this role. This pay range also depends on various factors such as job duties and requirements, relevant experience and skills and geographic location. In addition to the base salary range, QSC offers a comprehensive package including but not limited to health benefits, 401K or Roth retirement plans and generous time off.



Responsibilities

    Supervise Receiving Operations: Oversee the daily receiving of goods, ensuring that all inbound shipments are accurately inspected, documented, and stored in the appropriate locations within the warehouse.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and develop a team of warehouse receiving and cycle count staff. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, safety, and accountability.
  • Manage Cycle Counts: Develop and implement a regular cycle counting schedule to maintain inventory accuracy. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure all receiving and inventory control procedures comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all receiving and cycle count activities. Utilize warehouse management systems to track and report on inventory levels and discrepancies. Continuously evaluate and enhance inventory management and cycle counting processes/procedures.
  • Communication: Coordinate with other departments, such as purchasing, production, and shipping, to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise in any and all inventory management activities. Maintain ownership of scheduling appointments for all inbound materials into the Corona Regional Distribution Center.


Qualifications

  • High School diploma and a minimum of 2 years of Collgee (AA Degree preferred)
  • At least 6 years experience in Warehouse Receiving and Inventory Management
  • At least 3 years in supervisory roles
  • Forklift experience and the ability to be certified within 6 months of hire date
  • Oracle ERP System knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • In-depth understanding and knowledge of warehouse receiving and inventory management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills. Ability to interact with various departments and levels of management.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to have effective collaborative skills with employees as well as management.
