Summary
Spire is seeking a Cost Accountant with Financial Analyst experience to support the Spire Midstream business which encompasses natural gas storage and pipeline operations. This position will be responsible for traditional accounting tasks such as preparing and completing monthly journal entries, financial statements, quarterly reports, yearly reports, and account reconciliations as well as traditional financial analyst tasks such as variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. While Spire Inc. is a company of over ~3,600 employees, Spire Midstream has about ~100 employees. So, the cost accountant will have to be flexible and pick up ad hoc assignments to support this business unit. Company Overview
