At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. The Soil and Groundwater Infrastructure Operations team is seeking an experienced Activity Manger to support and make recommendations that are recognized as authoritative to the successful field execution of construction and engineering activities/Projects.

A day in the life of an Activity Manager may involve, but not limited to the following:
* Plan/execute multiple, complex field activities with a demonstrated record of successful schedule execution.
* Project plans, construction sequencing, construction schedules, activities, and milestones.
* Create and maintain completion metrics for project scope, including penetration sealing, interference removal, equipment installation, waste box inventories, spares, and other construction support metrics as required.
* Identify and notify the Project Manager (PM) and Buyer Technical Representative (BTR) of proposed and/or needed changes to designs (WPEs, ECRs, etc.), approaches, and/or authorized work scope to allow field execution.
* Coordinate engineering change documentation with engineering group and confirm completion and adequacy.
* Interface with Operations, Project Manager, Construction Managers, and other organizations to ensure schedules and resources are aligned for maintaining Field Execution Schedule.
* Identify conflicts that would impact construction (e.g., facility space utilization/outages, radiological concerns, HEPA/NAM vac issues, DOP testing schedules, RCI resolution, hoisting and rigging, etc.), and provide recommended resolutions.
* Provide guidance to work control planners and recommendation to Responsible Managers on means and methods, task sequencing, and work package scope definition.
* Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and maturity in resolving project field issues and engineering problems.
* Provide coordination between design and procurement/construction for integration of technical content and schedule activities.
* Participate in work planning, hazard identification and control, work performance within the controls including feedback and continuous improvement.
* Perform field investigations to determine as-found conditions and coordinate resolution.
* Provide overall coordination with plant forces, Responsible Managers, Shift Office and project construction personnel.
* Ability to execute tasks with minimal oversight.


Basic Qualifications


* Senior Grade 21: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 10 or more years of relevant experience
* Principal Grade 22: Bachelor's or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 12 or more years of relevant experience

The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.


Desired Qualifications


* Past experience managing construction personnel or construction projects.
* Currently qualified Field Work Supervisor.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).
* Electrical, mechanical, field Installation, on a construction project experience is preferred.
* Knowledge in the development and process of construction contracts.


Compensation & Benefits


In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.

Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):
* Senior Level Grade 21: $142,038 - $179,113
* Principal Level Grade 22: $159,363 - $209,688

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
