Overview Nebraska Community Blood Bank (NCBB.ORG), a division of Innovative Blood Resources (www.innovativebloodresources.org), has been saving and sustaining lives since 1968. We are dedicated to connecting people who need life-saving blood with generous volunteers who give. Operating 4 donor centers and conducting dozens of blood drives each month, we are proud to be an independent nonprofit that supplies over 20 area hospitals and clinics with life-saving blood-from our community, for our community. Responsibilities Summary: This position is responsible for managing leading efforts to grow and sustain blood collection by overseeing a team of Account Managers focused on recruiting new partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with existing partners. This position will also be responsible for new account acquisition and existing account development with monthly and annual blood donation collection goals within the assigned market segment in the greater Omaha metro area. This position is critical in reaching blood collection targets through effective recruitment strategies and various tools and techniques. This position will work closely supervising and supporting the coordination of the first blood drive by building strong customer relationships and flawless execution. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strategic mindset, excellent people management skills, and the ability to develop and execute plans to meet the organizational blood collection goals. Assists in day-to-day operations to achieve the collection goals and financial objectives of the department. Primary Duties, Presponsibilities or Activities Required:
Manage, coach and mentor a team of Account Managers and Business Development Managers responsible for growth of new partnerships and maintaining ongoing relationships with existing partners.
The proposed annual salary is $80,000 p/yr to $85,000 p/yr. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience. Experience: 5 years' experience in donor recruitment, sales, business development or marketing. 2 years of managerial/supervisory experience required. Experience in blood banking, healthcare, or nonprofit industry is highly desirable. Any combination of education, training and experience that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills and experience to perform the essential functions of the job |
