Zayo is seeking a Head of Cloud & Infrastructure to lead the strategy, implementation, and optimization of cloud infrastructure and operations across the organization. The Head of Cloud & Infrastructure is responsible for designing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions while ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems. Reporting to the VP, this leader will drive cloud adoption, modernization, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Cloud Strategy and Design:

  • Develop and execute a cloud roadmap aligned with organizational objectives.

  • Architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.

Cloud Operations Management:

  • Oversee cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency.

  • Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

Cloud Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and implement robust security frameworks, including zero-trust architecture.

  • Monitor and mitigate cloud-related risks.

Innovation and Optimization:

  • Introduce cloud-native technologies and frameworks, including containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and serverless computing.

  • Optimize cloud resources for cost management and scalability.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and manage a team of cloud architects and engineers.

  • Foster collaboration with AI, middleware, and application teams for seamless cloud integration.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in cloud infrastructure and operations, with Minimum of five (5) years in leadership roles.

  • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern

  • architecture principles.

  • Expertise in IaC tools, container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and serverless

  • architectures.

  • Strong track record of implementing cost-effective and secure cloud solutions.

Estimated base salary range: $190,000 - $220,000 USD/annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
