What you'll be doing...Design and implement Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) solutions that enables fiber to be built and engineered for our One Fiber network. Lead a team of onshore and offshore IT developers to develop the software using ESRI Platform of tools such as ArcMap, ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server Manager, ArcSDE, Catalog, Dashboards, Spatial Algorithms, Oracle Spatial Database, Java, Spring Boot, jQuery, AngularJS, Python, and ArcPy. Create and publish map documents as different REST services, either as a feature or map service, and Geoprocessing Services. Monitor and maintain the ArcGIS environment and scale the platform to business needs. Collaborate with IT development teams from Engineering, Planning and Service Enablement to build and deploy the One Fiber network. Interact with network planning, and engineering teams to understand planning and engineering processes for the network buildout. Design and develop User Interface screens and ArcGIS Map views that enable Fiber display and analytics. Participate as a full member of the One Fiber Scaled Agile Resource Train Planning Sessions and Agile Sprints. Implement complete CI/CD pipelines to promote code from Dev/SIT/UAT through various quality, security and performance gates, ensuring the ability to deploy to Production. Work with Quality Engineering and Production Support teams to get software tested in SIT/UAT and deployed in Production. Use various technologies, including J2EE, NodeJS, DevOps, Junit, Confluence, Jira, Stash, Jenkins, JMeter, SonarQube, New Relic, SRE, Oracle Spatial Database, Oracle, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Web Flow Architectures, Spring JDBC, Microservices, SOAP, and Agile Methodology using SAFE What we're looking for...Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, and 4 years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, GIS Engineer, Java Developer, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 4 years of experience in software development and unit testing. 4 years of experience with ArcGIS, ArcMap, ESRI ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server Manager, ArcSDE, ArcPy, Catalog, Dashboards, Spatial Algorithms, Python, Java, J2EE, NodeJS, AngularJS, DevOps, Junit, Confluence, Jira, Stash, Jenkins, JMeter, SonarQube, New Relic, SRE, Oracle, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Web Flow Architectures, Spring JDBC, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST, SOAP, and Agile Methodology using SAFE.
