The Corporate Communications Co-Op is responsible for supporting the digital and external media teams as well as the broader communications team on an as needed basis. Primarily responsibilities include supporting Campbell's Corporate Digital & Creative team with the development, management and reporting of Campbell's digital content and channels, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and web (thecampbellscompany.com). The Co-Op will work on a variety of external communications and media relations projects including media measurement and analytics programs, press releases and messaging drafts, among others. This position will play a critical role in strengthening the company reputation through internal and external digital channels.

We are looking for someone who is eager to be part of a team, passionate about video, an avid explorer of social media trends, and a strong communicator.

Primary Responsibilities

Assist Corporate Communications team with various projects including:

  • Content Development:
    • Collaborate with the digital comms team on stories and content that can be shared via the company blog and social channels
    • Help film and edit video for social e.g. Instagram reels
    • Assist in management of the digital editorial calendar
    • Draft press releases, key messages and digital content on a wide range of topics for external audiences.
  • Measurement & Analytics:
    • Support community management through monitoring comments and tags
    • Identify timely and relevant trends to develop into social content
    • Support daily social listening of timely conversations
    • Work with the team to help compile social and web data that will be used in monthly reports
    • Support media measurement, analytics programs and reporting.
  • Events:
    • Assist with reporting on events: Gather video, photos, anecdotes to highlight life at Campbell's
    • Assist with external media and community events
  • Research:
    • Conduct research as needed on key topics related to the food industry and/or business
    • Analyze corporate social channels and research digital trends as needed
    • Compile digital clips on the latest trends

Requirements:

  • Minimum education requirements: Studying for a bachelor's degree in Digital or Design
  • Experienced with social media including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with editing video, either in Adobe Premiere or in-app editors e.g. CapCut
  • Must have previous internship experience
  • Strong writing and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented and able to multitask
  • Team player
  • Experience with SharePoint, WordPress, Canva and/or basic visual design principles is a plus
  • Maximum of 40 hours per week, minimum of 32 hours.
