Description
Assists the members of the Safety Department (Day-to-Day Safety Manager) by providing safety data analysis, safety reporting program administration, production of publications and training safety stakeholders and administrative support of the DER program. This includes the collection of data from various employee safety reporting programs and its analysis and distribution to multiple stakeholders. The candidate will assist in producing and distributing monthly, quarterly, and annual safety reports and summaries. The candidate will learn to function as an administrator for airline SMS required safety reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program, Fatigue Risk Management Program and Airline and Occupational Safety Reports). The candidate learns to function as an Internal Audit and Evaluation Program and Safety Management System specialist by completing and entering audits and other safety program administrative documentation into an SMS accepted database and having to opportunity to become qualified as an auditor. The candidate also assists in the administrative revision of company manuals including the Management System Manual, Safety Management System, Internal Audit and Evaluation Program and the Corporate Emergency Response Plans. The candidate involved safety processes including hazard identification, risk assessment, classification of safety related trends, communication of safety statistics and findings, and the formulation of administrative process improvements. The candidate will assist in arranging safety related training and other business customers as directed and interface with Company Executives, Directors, Managers, Senior FAA Certificate Management Team Members, labor union Safety Committee members and business partners.
