PAY RANGE

$20-25/HR DOE. Prevailing Wage applicable on federal work.

PRIMARY DUTIES

• Communicate with drivers and operators to identify problems
• Diagnose failures and identify parts needed
• Document and record work performed and parts used
• Work with shop manager and others involved to prioritize work schedule to minimize vehicle downtime
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Perform necessary work and maintenance on semi-tractors, dump trucks, concrete batch plants, concrete pavers and supporting equipment, water trucks and pickup trucks
• Perform necessary work and maintenance on front end loaders, pavers, plants, rollers, backhoes, graders, and other construction equipment
• This position requires a person who is self-motivated, professional, and willing to be a team player

BACKGROUND

• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and physical
• Must be able to pass a Dept. of Defense background screening
• Must have a Valid driver's license and have a safe driving record
• ASE Certification (Preferred)
• Experience with working on dump trucks and mixers (preferred)
• Must be willing to travel when needed
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends
