Position Summary
Odyssey Systems is recruiting for a Senior Digital Materiel Management Support position supporting the Attack Systems Division, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. WID is part of the ISR/SOF Directorate (AFLCMC/WI), who is responsible for equipping our warfighters to win the fight. The Directorate executes a $22 billion acquisition portfolio developing, producing, testing, modifying, fielding, and supporting Air Force ISR and SOF platforms, and related sub-systems. |
Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
Possess the advanced knowledge, experience, and recognized ability to be considered highly skilled in Digital Materiel Management Support. Must work independently and be able to apply procedures.
- Serve as the SharePoint and/or other Digital Materiel Management (DMM) environment owner for the AFLCMC/WID division, ensuring the efficient organization, management, and security of all content.
- Responsible for the general upkeep of SharePoint sites, scrubbing for personal Identification Information (PII) and Uncontrolled Classified Information (CUI).
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users for SharePoint and other DMM environments.
- Assist in migrating from legacy digital environments to new platforms (e.g., CloudOne Launchpad).
- Support the continuous improvement of the digital environment and support AFPEO/WI initiatives related to WID digital strategy. Assist in creating a holistic roadmap, including a prioritized task list (Backlog), that aligns strategy, structure, governance, systems, staff, and skills.
- Conduct current-state analyses, define the target state, identify gaps, and deliver a roadmap with recommendations to bridge the gaps, leveraging systems and platforms already in place within WI (e.g., MS Teams, Atlassian, etc.).
- Create, support, and maintain dashboards that aid in data-drive decisions for each respective functional area. Dashboards will display metrics for tasks, along with response times and team support information.
- Make recommendations to the Government on better utilizing SharePoint and other DMM environments. Will also assist others in uploading/downloading, designing, and utilizing these sites.
- Make data available in a user-friendly format and assist in presenting the information for staff meetings and other meetings as necessary. Must provide customer service and training that builds easy-to-follow processes to streamline and automate day-to-day operations.
- Establish ways to pull and employ data from existing databases and tools from various software (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate) and input data into Product Lifecycle Management Software (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter).
- Possess expert knowledge of SharePoint software (including, but not limited to, SharePoint Designer, SharePoint Cloud, and SharePoint 2013), creation/management of workflows, and management of permissions for personnel on SharePoint sites. Must have expert knowledge in creating SharePoint pages, lists, graphics, calendars, document files, and embedding links.
- Capable of using Defense Acquisition Management Information Retrieval (DAMIR), Comprehensive Cost and Requirements System (CCaRS), Project Management Resource Tools (PMRT), and Portals (AF, HPO) as needed to prepare spreadsheets, briefings, figures, graphics, tables, forms, and papers.
- Capable of providing finished products - technical and non-technical, classified and unclassified - in the media and format requested.

- Master's or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five years of which must be in the DoD.
- OR bachelor's degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD.
- OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD.
