About the Role

As a Congress Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in shaping regional society events by managing approvals, payments, and contracts. Your knack for building partnerships and driving efficiencies will be key to delivering exceptional service. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy a challenge, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

You're Good At



  • Managing multiple contracts and approvals with precision and attention to detail.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with show organizers and key stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicating complex information with clarity and professionalism.
  • Utilizing technology tools like Cvent for managing event communications and reporting.
  • Proactively identifying and solving challenges to enhance service delivery.



You Should Have



  • A minimum of one year's experience in event planning or management, preferably with life science congresses.
  • Experience working with vendors, including sourcing and negotiating contracts.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry or experience with medical societies.
  • Experience with attendee management, and managing room blocks.



You Should Know



  • This role is virtual for candidates based in the US, and operates in the Eastern Time Zone
  • There is minimal travel associated with this role.
  • Cvent experience is preferred, as well as acollege degree or additional certifications related to event coordination.

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Congress Coordinator is between $51,700 - $60,000.The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
