About the Role As theProduction Team Leader Iin our Manufacturing Center of Excellence inColumbia, MOyou will lead Team Members in the assigned work center(s) on the day to day production to ensure people, quality, delivery and cost (PQDC) targets are met to achieve the customer demand and Value Stream goals. You will lead improvement efforts through the use of lean tools and techniques in the Watlow Business System (WBS) and serve as the subject matter expert on the operations in the work center(s). Shift: 2nd Shift Hours: 3:00p to 1:30a Schedule may vary depending on business needs Your Key Responsibilities Ensuring areas are staffed accordingly, understands work flow and daily demand Responsible for build plan execution Working with internal and external customers to meet quality guidelines and expectations by using RCCA - root cause corrective action Assisting with determining scope, budget, and implementation timeframes of assigned projects Developing strong relationships and provides effective communication, prioritization, and alignment Serving as a mentor and role model, identifies team member development needs and provides career coaching Managing time and attendance Collaborating with senior manager and Human Resources on team staffing decisions and employee relations Provides maintenance support and troubleshooting of equipment breakdowns independently Required Qualifications Must have 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing environment with leadership responsibilities Must be able to work off shift and Saturdays as required Desired Qualifications Two-year degree and/or Technical certification preferred Project management experiencepreferred Ability to effectively communicate with all levels including verbal, written and email Experience working with and developing teams Clear understanding of "servant leadership" mentality Coaching skills to develop team members in all aspects of manufacturing management Lean training and certification Benefits: The Watlow Total Compensation Plan The health, well-being and financial stability of you and your family is a high priority to us.
