Manufacturing Supervisor ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE BUSINESS: A&D LOCATION: Corona, CA AREA: Motors Manufacturing DIRECT REPORTING: Manager, Manufacturing FUNCTIONAL REPORTING: Site Leader About CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense CIRCOR Aerospace & Defense is focused on the design, development, and manufacture of specialty fluid and motion control products for demanding aerospace and defense applications. CIRCOR products are flying on most commercial and military aircraft, including single and twin aisle air transport, business and regional jets, military transports and fighters, and commercial and military rotorcraft. Other markets include unmanned aircraft, shipboard applications, and military ground vehicles. Business units are in Corona, California; Warren, Massachusetts; Hauppauge, New York; Paris, France; Uxbridge, UK; and Tangier, Morocco. POSITION DETAILS Principal Activities Manage Day to Day shop floor personnel and activities. Drive completion of monthly, weekly and daily build plans. Ensure completion or work orders safely, in compliance, on-time and at the best cost. Work closely with development team to transition and industrialize new processes and products. Create a culture of continuous improvement, problem solving, and elimination of waste at the work site, as well as respect for and empowerment of production workers. Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development. Interface with upstream and downstream operations to create flow and address turnback's. Provide Estimated Time to Complete (ETC) for products to the planning and customer service department. Analyze data from Team Improvement Boards, develop and implement actions to improve performance. Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, OSHA, and safety. Job Requirements: CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Knowledge Skills & Abilities FAA repair station experience preferred High School Diploma 3+ years' experience in a manufacturing role Demonstrated leadership skills in a manufacturing environment Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to embrace change and participate in continuous improvement activity. PAY RANGE: $85k-90k. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
