Genesis10 is seeking a Middle Office Analyst, Capital Markets, for a six-month contract position. This position will work in Charlotte, NC. This position will support a hybrid schedule with approximately 40% of the time working remotely and the rest onsite at the client office in Charlotte, NC (uptown area). Compensation: $31.00 - $34.30 per hour, W2, depending upon skills and experience level. Daily Responsibilities: * Compare trade position files from external counter-parties * Perform trade decompositions to validate current mark-to-market exposures * Review and present collateral margin calls and respond the demands submitted by our counterparties * Work with internal departments to resolve all discrepancies * Produce and distribute ad-hoc reporting requirements to clients * Consistently seek opportunities to improve processes, controls and procedures * Partner with the project team to develop requirements for system enhancements and assist with user acceptance testing Desired Qualifications * 1 year of capital markets industry or similar experience * Need someone with Derivative trading experience (can be from a customer role at an investments type company) AND their Series 7. * Strong customer service skills, EXCEL and analytical skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment * Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills * Extensive knowledge and understanding of loan, securities, and derivative products * Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Macros, V-Lookups, etc) * Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Other Desired Qualifications * Strong client services skills * College degree with a concentration in finance and business * Understanding of trading systems * Firm understanding of derivative trading * Self-starter and aggressive work ethic with self-discipline follow-up skills * Tableau and SQL * Client Series 7 licensed If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, apply today!
