Salary Range: $89K to 103K*

Position Overview:
The Senior Manager, Benefits Administration will implement and manage programs supporting the strategic design of Vibrant's benefits and wellness programs to support the health, wellness, and financial security of our employees. This role requires a professional with deep expertise in benefits strategy, a keen understanding of compliance, expertise in HCM systems and a passion for delivering innovative, employee-focused solutions. You will partner with members of the People Experience team, Finance team, and external vendors to ensure Vibrant's benefits programs remain competitive, cost-effective, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong management/stakeholder engagement and exceptional analytical skills to evaluate programs, optimize processes, and deliver a best-in-class employee experience.
Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Manages HCM Benefits Administration including liaising with HRIS team to ensure accurate table set up; data validation, file maintenance and reporting as well as updating the system to reflect changes in plans, rates and compliance requirements.
  • Manages vendor relationships and serves as primary contact for benefits vendors and brokers to administer benefits including Healthcare, Life & Disability Insurance, 401k, COBRA and ACA.
  • Leads research and analysis of organizational benefits trends and best practices providing strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Develops communications materials to support talent acquisition, enhance employee understanding of available benefits and keep internal digital communications (Wiki pages) updated.
  • Partners with People Experience departments to ensure quality on-boarding of new hires, collaborate on employee and manager education as it relates to benefits programs and processes and participates in new hire orientation.
  • Designs, implements and evaluates benefits and wellness programs to ensure effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals. Act as project manager for annual employee open enrollment.
  • Conduct weekly/bi-weekly audits of deductions/enrollments of all Benefits-related items
  • Manages Benefit program compliance including but not limited to 5500s, SARs and 1095s
  • Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of any subordinates.
  • Assists with ADA/Leave/Absence Management/ Worker's compensation and Tuition Reimbursement as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Minimum 5 years experience with employee benefits plan design and administration including health, life and 401(k) plans

  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.

  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

  • Prior remote work experience

  • Monitors and evaluates interim results and develops contingency plans if objectives are off track.
  • Performance and outcomes are subject to review by senior management

Required Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with health and wellness benefits or 10 years of practical experience in these areas in lieu of degree.
  • BA/BS College degree
  • Experienced with HRIS systems such as Workday



Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.


  • Will frequently communicate over video calls with internal and external stakeholders to provide status updates and potential roadblocks.
