IT Program Manager will lead and oversee the execution of critical IT projects to ensure they meet business objectives, scope and budget. IT Program Manager plays a crucial role in driving successful project outcomes and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the IT organization. The IT Program Manager role will include project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The position will foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving efficiency, and enhancing overall project and portfolio management capabilities.
The role is located at our Head Quarters in Little Rock, AR.
Job Duties:
- Allocates resources, manages risks, and maintains clear communication with stakeholders to facilitate successful project delivery.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize potential obstacles and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Foster clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations. Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project progress, analyze trends, and provide insightful reports to managemen
- Facilitate change management processes, ensuring smooth transitions during project implementation and addressing resistance effectively. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Ensure proper documentation of all projects is completed and proper segregation of duties and controls are adhered to for all projects per internal controls and Sox Compliance.
- Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and optimizing resource utilization.
- Travel may be necessary or required for project management, scoping, and development.
Minimum Education, Licenses & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business administration or related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification desired but not required.
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience of demonstrated capabilities of aligning program goals with the overall business objectives. This involves developing a comprehensive program strategy, understanding how it fits into the broader organizational context, and anticipating future trends and challenges.
- 5 years of managing complex IT programs from initiation to completion. This includes experience in program planning, execution, risk management, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances while ensuring the achievement of program objectives.
- 5 years of experience building relationships with diverse stakeholders, including executives, project teams, vendors, and external partners. Strong interpersonal skills contribute to successful collaboration and the ability to navigate different perspectives.
- 5 years experience of managing budgets with a solid understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Capable of developing and managing program budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring that financial resources are optimized to meet program goals.
- 3 years of NetSuite experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks. This involves proactive risk management strategies, contingency planning, and the ability to make informed decisions to keep the program on track
- Great interpersonal and communication skills -- written, verbal, and listening -- and very comfortable having complex and/or difficult conversations with a wide variety of people at all levels of the organization.
