Job Summary
The Department of Poultry Science is looking for a student to assist with poultry research and farm maintenance at the Charles C. Miller Jr. Poultry Research and Education Center.
Essential Functions
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with weighing chickens
  • Cleaning barns
  • Bagging and weighing feed
  • Assisting with poultry processing
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as an Auburn University student.
  • Must have a valid transportation.
  • Must be able to work at least 12 hours a week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous farm experience
  • Ability to hook up and pull bumper-pull or goose-neck trailers
  • Ability to operate farm equipment such as:

    • Tractors
    • Forklifts
    • Skid Steers
    • Weed Eaters
    • Pressure Washers




Pay Rate $10.00 - $15.00/hour
Work Hours 12 - 20
