We are seeking a motivated Accounting/Finance Intern to join our team in Mattoon, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in accounting and finance, excellent analytical skills, and a willingness to learn. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in various accounting and finance tasks, including but not limited to financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Responsibilities:

Assist with month-end financial reports
Help with accounts receivable, payable, and bank statement reconciliation
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
Perform financial analysis and research as needed
Assist with ad-hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay Range: $16 per hour
