Position Overview

Join us in our fast-paced support to the Space Development Agency (SDA). Recognized as the Department of Defense's constructive disruptor for space acquisition, SDA delivers space-based capabilities to the joint warfighter to support terrestrial missions through development, fielding, and operation of the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. SDA capitalizes on a unique business model that values speed and lowers costs by harnessing commercial development to achieve a proliferated architecture and enhance resilience. We are seeking Contracts Administrative Support to provide administrtive program management support to the SDA Small Business Program. Responsibilities include:



Responsibilities

    Support Small Business Innovations Research/Small Businesss Technology Transition (SBIR/STTR) Program Managers in tracking actions to ensure they are completed. This includes but is not limited to reporting, checking payment, tracking funds, communicating progress.
  • Monitor the small business mailbox for actions from companies, track these actions, and work with others on the Small Business Team to ensure the actions are completed.
  • Set up initial entry meetings for small businesses to present information to Small Business Director and Tech Director. Schedule and facilitate Technical Interchange meetings between small businesses and SDA.
  • Track and ensure quad charts are available for each company to allow for and effectively show the program development, status, milestones and way forward for each company. Update the quad chart template as needed.
  • Coordinate between SDA and AFWERX to ensure contractual information is received from them, and provide inputs to the spend plan, as requested and approved by the SDA Small Business Director.
  • Author and update the SDA small business web page to effectively communicate SDA Small Business information to small businesses
  • Create a Small Business dashboard and update it weekly. Maintain monthly status of all efforts - activities, expenditures, deliverables, etc.


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalant experience required
  • Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills to interface with senior military/civilian officials, mananagers, and industry representatives
