Your role

The Deployment Lead will play a pivotal role in planning, managing, and executing large-scale technology deployments as part of the Vantive's separation. This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring an individual who can navigate complex deployment challenges while aligning cross-functional teams to ensure successful go-live outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization's strategic transformation, enabling a successful transformation while building expertise in deployment leadership and large-scale change management.

The Deployment Lead will work across multiple workstreams-spanning Commercial, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Technology-to design and implement comprehensive deployment wave plans. Success in this role will depend on exceptional communication skills, strong leadership presence, and the ability to inspire confidence while fostering collaboration and empathy.

What you will be doing

Deployment Planning & Execution:

  • Define and develop deployment wave strategies, ensuring alignment across workstreams and program goals.

  • Lead the creation of detailed (t-minus) cutover plans, coordinating mock cutovers and refining plans to address gaps and risks.

  • Execute go-live deployment waves, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption to business operations.

  • Partner with solutions integration lead to ensure continuity across waves.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with senior leaders and workstream teams to align deployment strategies with organizational objectives.

  • Provide clear and concise updates to leadership, project teams, and external partners on deployment progress and readiness.

Risk Management & Problem Solving:

  • Identify and mitigate risks across deployment waves, proactively addressing potential obstacles to ensure success.

  • Resolve escalations quickly and effectively, demonstrating sound judgment and a solutions-oriented mindset.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead cross-functional teams during high-pressure deployment activities, ensuring alignment and focus on shared goals.

  • Foster a collaborative environment that values open communication, mutual respect, and team success.

Change Management:

  • Support organizational change initiatives by collaborating with program leaders to integrate change management plans into deployment activities.

  • Ensure stakeholders are prepared for system and process changes, minimizing resistance and maximizing adoption.

What's Expected of You in this Role/at this level:

Strong Communicator:

  • Ability to lead meetings, facilitate workshops, and command deployment calls with clarity and confidence.

  • Deliver consistent and transparent updates tailored to diverse audiences, including C-Suite executives and program teams.

Detail-Oriented Leader:

  • Manage complex deployment schedules with precision, ensuring all aspects of the cutover process are planned and executed.

Collaborative Problem-Solver:

  • Work effectively in a matrixed environment, building strong relationships and securing consensus across multiple stakeholders.

  • Navigate ambiguity with creativity and a structured approach to problem resolution.

Empathetic and Confident:

  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence and empathy while leading diverse teams through complex and high-stakes deployment activities.

What you'll bring

  • 8+ years of experience in technology deployment, large-scale go-lives, or similar program/project management roles.

  • Proven ability to lead large, cross-functional teams through deployment activities in complex environments.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with experience presenting to senior leaders and managing stakeholder expectations.

  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain focus under pressure.

  • Familiarity with ERP platforms is a plus.

  • Experience in regulated industries (pharmaceuticals, healthcare, etc.) is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

  • Experience leading mock cutovers and iterative testing phases for large technology deployments.

  • Strong understanding of technology change control processes and post-go-live support strategies

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Vantive, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $115,000 to $150,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonus.
