Your Role

The Consultant, HR Functional Lead IT (Workday) will be the delivery partner with BRM (Business Relationship Manager), Delivery Manager, and HR leadership teams. This partnership will enable the HR function to achieve its goals, drive the greatest leverage of our technical investments, enable innovation, and maintain Vantive's leadership position in the market.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Workday HR Functional Lead to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting the cloning/migration, configuration, and operationalization of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions for our business partners. This role requires a deep understanding of HR processes, excellent project management skills, and the ability to align Workday solutions with business needs. You will be responsible for leading functional design, configuration, testing, and providing expert-level guidance to HR stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing

• Identify, assess,and solvecomplex business problemsfor core HR applications and processes.

• Collaborate with BRM, Delivery Manager, and Product Owner to manage the product backlog, prioritize projects and features based on impact and alignment with the team's long-term goals and strategy.

• Serve as key functional SME for Workday during the steady operational lifecycle

• Integrate input from multiple channels, including customer research, industry research/best practices and stakeholder requirements, into product priorities and requirements

• Collaborate with BRM, HR and IT stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.

• Responsible for creating and maintaining documentation, development standards and best practices, and helping to ensure that the platform is secure and compliant with applicable regulations

• Lead and participate in testing, validation, and deployment of Workday solutions.

• Ensure overall design is in line with Vantive's global model, existing business rules, and is properly integrated with other applications/process. Challenge whenever required business requirements

• Design, build, launch and assess MVPs employing Lean principles.

• Responsible to work with in-house application teams and third-party service providers to build knowledge and for resolving incidents

• Stay updated with new Workday releases and evaluate their impact on existing configurations.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields.

• 8 + years of experience in Information Systems, experience in multiple areas of IT.

• 3+ years of experience in Global Workday implementation projects.

• Proven internal and external stakeholder management experience.

• Ability to workwith cross-functional matrixed teams to deliver on a common goal.

• Foundational project management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads.

• Experience related to Software as Service (SaaS)

• Experience with Agile project methodology

• Experience with ITSM Process; experience with Service Now or Jira is preferred.

• Experience with Business Process Configuration of Workday cloud application: Human Capital Management, Talent Acquisition, Advanced Compensation

• Experience with Configuration and customization of Workday Business Process

• Experience with Report Writing and Calculated Fields.

• Experience in managing access and security settings of Workday.

• Strong understanding of integrating Workday with other systems such as payroll, benefits and internal downstream applications.

• Workday Core HCM Configuration certification is preferred.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Vantive, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $115,000 to $150,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position is also eligible for discretionary bonus.
