Position Title Kids on Campus Instructional Aide

FT/PT Part Time
Hours Per Week 40
Work Schedule M-F, 8am-5pm
Position Salary Range $16/hourly
General Responsibilities
Instructional Aides support the Kids on Campus Program in a variety of ways. They serve as an instructional aide to classroom teachers, distribute and collect materials, assist with office tasks, and monitor students during break and lunch times. Instructional Aides help to maintain a safe and orderly environment monitoring hallways, arrival, and dismissal, breaks and the lunchroom. They also act as a liaison between parents and staff. Requirements:
* A high school diploma is required at the start of the program.
* Good communication skills and previous work experience with school-age children is preferred.
* Training or skills with computers, copiers, and other office equipment is desirable.
* Program work is from June 12 - August 15
* Must be able to work June 12 - August 8; preference will be given to candidates who can work through end of program, August 15

Physical Requirements:

  • Stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift small boxes (approximately 25lbs.
  • Walk across campus and up and down stairs daily.
