OVERVIEW: The Sinor Collections Specialist oversees the collections aging and functions with the collections team, assisting the Director of Collections and AR with special projects and training new employees and existing team members in alignment with company policies. The Sinor Collections Specialist will lead daily operations related to Collections. This role also involves collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient processes and resolve discrepancies. Responsibilities Collections * Oversee the Credit Hold - Soft Shut off process with the collections team. * Oversee the 72-hour and 24-hour emails to sales and Sinor-level DataBank. * Train collections staff to ensure effective collection efforts. * Monitoring and analyzing the performance of the collections team with their aging. * Collaborate on projects and processes for improvements to the collections team with the Director of Collections and AR. * Overseeing the collections department, ensuring all collections activities align with the company's goals and comply with legal standards. * Collaborate with other departments, such as Cash Application, Billing, and Sales, to facilitate information sharing and improve collection processes. * Assist in emails and calls * Coordinate with the Director of Collections and AR to try to settle before an account is sent to 3rd party collections. * Assist in escalation calls, Email, and Zoom meetings. * Ownership of personal again que with larger customers or manual processes. ? Qualifications * High School Diploma and some college required * Associate or Bachelor' degree preferred. Major in Accounting/Finance a plus * 5 years' experience in collections required. * Excellent communication and customer service skills, verbal and written. * Adherence to deadlines. * Ability to interpret and enforce contract terms * Intermediate and/or advanced MS Excel required.?NetSuite and/or Epicor experience a plus. * High advancement in excel. * Excellent time management and attention to detail ?
