This position is focused on growth as a developer, learning tools, processes, and best practices such as testing, source control, project documentation, and planning. The Software Development Intern will assist with building defined features, investigating and correcting bugs, as well as communicating progress and blocking issues. Purdue Federal Credit Union is dedicated to fostering the academic and professional growth of interns by providing valuable hands-on experience. Through active involvement in meaningful projects and a structured, mentored-learning environment. Interns have the opportunity to enhance their skills and contribute to the credit union's success.

Description
* Innovate creative solutions to challenging problems with our Software Development team
* Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced developers.
* Create and maintain technical documentation for new and existing product offerings and processes
* Display a professional manner in dealing with supervisors, coworkers, members, and others inside and outside the credit union
Required Skills
Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements


  • Minimum High School or GED
  • Enrolled in a technology-related degree program at a college or university
  • Preferred 0-2 Years
  • 6 months hands-on experience from internships or financial services industry


Additional Requirements


  • Desire to work professionally in the Information Technology field
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and web scripting languages
  • Experience using GitHub or equivalent for source control
  • Excellent programming and debugging skills
  • Experience with Artificial Intelligence preferred
