The Software Development Intern will assist with building defined features, investigating and correcting bugs, as well as communicating progress and blocking issues. Description * Innovate creative solutions to challenging problems with our Software Development team * Receive mentorship and guidance from experienced developers. * Create and maintain technical documentation for new and existing product offerings and processes * Display a professional manner in dealing with supervisors, coworkers, members, and others inside and outside the credit union Required Skills Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements Minimum High School or GED Enrolled in a technology-related degree program at a college or university Preferred 0-2 Years 6 months hands-on experience from internships or financial services industry Additional Requirements Desire to work professionally in the Information Technology field Experience with HTML, CSS, and web scripting languages Experience using GitHub or equivalent for source control Excellent programming and debugging skills Experience with Artificial Intelligence preferred Competencies Displays strong problem solving skills Demonstrates initiative Takes direction well Displays professionalism Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, in a professional manner when dealing with employees, members, vendors and company contacts Ability to follow the core values of honesty, integrity, mutual respect, pride and ownership Purdue Federal Credit Union is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled
