Job Title Lead Business Functional Analyst Corporate Title Vice President Location New York Overview As a Business Functional Analyst in Trust and Agency Services you will join a team of developers and automation testers, following the SCRUM methodology and will be expected to immediately start contributing your thoughts and ideas. You will build a close relationship with the Business and operations teams (our end users), translating functional requirements into stories to present to the engineering team. You will also build a close relationship with our other teams in Cary as well as colleagues in our other locations. What You'll Do
Manage the scope and schedule of a project with an Agile approach (Establishing and modifying the project roadmap as required), while providing transparency through consistent reporting and communication for internal and external stakeholders, as well as managing the financial aspect of a project with regards to reporting Actual spend to forecasting the cost of the project through its various lifecycles Responsible for Program Status Reporting and oversight of Project Financials in Clarity Oversee team of functional analysts and developers, perform reviews, and provide feedback on documentation produced by members of the team, as well as drive and deliver initiatives to improve the team's delivery processes and methods Drive development teams to ensure high quality delivery while maintaining good coding practice Ensure that development teams and management have a clear understanding of business priorities Manage and execute acceptance testing - both user acceptance testing (UAT), with the client performing execution, and acceptance testing prior to UAT
How You'll Lead
Defining and articulating what, why and when of the product (feature definition and acceptance criteria) that teams build and prove Owning and defining the program backlog Establishing a cohesive partnership with the product group
Skills You'll Need
Moderate large enterprise level experience in information technology with an emphasis on technology project delivery specifically in compliance technology area (market surveillance, Information barriers surveillance, sales practice/ suitability etc.) Extensive experience working as a delivery Manager in a technology team in a financial services organization (preferably a tier 1 investment bank) with good knowledge of Investment bank products. Prior experience in leading a team skilled in big data technologies and Angular user interface (UI) frameworks (Google cloud experience would be a plus) Knowledge of the key responsibilities of an investment bank's Compliance department (preferably Trade Surveillance, Information Barriers, and Employee Surveillance) with an in-depth understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) with the ability to select the right tools / methodologies for a given task with strong understanding of the technology product and project lifecycle Demonstrated experience with the Agile Methodology with prior experience in data governance principles and implementation of data controls in surveillance domains (trade or e-comm surveillance preferred), Hands-on data analysis skills and use of tools using Structured Query Language (SQL), Bigdata environment (HIVE/Impala) etc

Expectations It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model. The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $203,000.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
