Job Title: Engagement and Events Associate

Location(s): White plains, NY

Project Overview


  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, this is an entry level position with our ideal candidate being a results-driven team player with energy in a fast- paced environment. This role will support the Senior Manager to help strategically plan and execute global and regional events in collaboration with executive team, regional teams, and external stakeholders. Our ideal candidate should be a well-rounded, customer service-obsessed, digitally savvy, and results-driven professional that thrives in a fast-growing energy sector environment with a focus on clean renewable energy.


Job Functions & Responsibilities


  • Assist with all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, attendee travel, and onsite coordination, to ensure flawless execution on event day.
  • Analyze event performance metrics and provide post-event reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of print and digital marketing collateral, including but not limited to event invitations, catalogs, booklets, flyers, etc.
  • Assist in procurement activities include purchase requisitions.
  • Track, collate, and maintain highly organized inventory of marketing materials.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work within allotted deadlines while maintaining a positive and energetic demeanor.
  • Prepare event proposals and meeting presentation materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop event promotional strategies and materials to ensure alignment with program and consistency with brand


Skills


  • Attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for this role as you will be interfacing with a lot of different stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, event management software preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
  • Must exhibit excellent organizational / time management skills and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work within allotted deadlines while maintaining a positive and energetic demeanor.
  • Ability to carry materials to and from events.


Education & Certifications


  • Associates degree 4-year degree preferred.
