Overview
The Strategic Planning Leader is responsible for managing Hitachi Vantara Federal's (HVF) end to end Go-to-Market Strategy. This position is partnered with the HVF CEO and Leadership team to direct the strategic planning process and support the successful execution of cross-functional initiatives to achieve business objectives. This position also leads targeted projects that directly support HVF's short and long-term growth objectives, working with the CEO and executive sponsor(s).

What You Will Be Doing
Go-to-Market Strategy. Facilitates go-to-market planning process to develop, document, and execute key objectives that provide differentiated value to clients, achieve HVF's vision, and meet corporate commitments. Primary responsibilities, outputs and work products for this function include:
* Vision, Mission, and Strategic Growth Initiatives
* Annual planning and execution plan to achieve vision including the HVF VSEM
* Cross-functional initiatives including detailed scope, expected deliverables, and timeline
* Investment recommendations
* Annual business goals and KPIs aligned to the VSEM
* Alignment to Hitachi Vantara corporate GTM strategy

Strategy Execution. Lead the annual, quarterly, and monthly strategy execution process to achieve the long-range Vision and annual goals. Primary responsibilities, outputs and work products for this function include:
* Annual results scorecard and KPIs (leading and lagging indicators)
* Quarterly and monthly alignment sessions to drive accountability, focused on specific and measurable company activities and outcomes to achieve the annual plan
* Fully transparent goal and KPI tracking system that captures real-time updates and elevates issues/risks for resolution
* Support for leadership meetings (weekly, monthly as needed)

Additional Strategy Support. Additional support as required by the business including:
* Support for Hitachi Federal feasibility study and follow-on actions to launch an expanded business unit
* Support for any future acquisition efforts
* Assist with leadership offsites
* Creation of content to communicate VSEM and goals to HVF employees; management of gold source strategic materials, online repositories, and archives
* Market research, budget, and spend analysis to support strategic planning efforts, analysis of industry and market trends, competitive threats, and new opportunities
* Support for sales efforts including gate reviews and standing up bid and proposal coordination support function for HVF

What You Will Bring To The Team
* Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar field
* 7+ years in a business or management role
* Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
* Excellent communicator in written and verbal form
* Ability to establish trust and collaborate with others within the company and externally
* Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity
* Experience planning, data analysis and leading strategic initiatives
* Proven success in a project coordination role
* Nimble business mind with a focus on developing creative solutions
* Strong project reporting skills, with a focus on interdepartmental communication
* Advanced problem-solving, conflict resolution, active listening, and time management skills
* Demonstrated success with delivering strategic, cross-functional, programs, including planning, scheduling, monitoring, and stakeholder reporting with multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
* Experience with analytics and understanding of support metrics and KPIs
* Facilitation skills in leading and planning meetings, reviews, and retrospectives
* Ability to learn quickly and pick up tools, systems, and processes in a short amount of time
* Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment
* Advanced MS Excel spreadsheet skills, MS PowerPoint, Teams, Monday.com skills to create, track progress and provide dashboard reporting

* Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, using deep business acumen to make effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation
* Extensive knowledge of and ability to align the organization's people and culture with changes in business strategy, organizational structure, technology, and business processes to ensure that program benefits are realized
