ABOUT THE POSITION

The International Distributor Region Sales team drives growth around the world for Columbia Sportswear Company brands. We collaborate with our commercial, marketing and merchandising partners to provide tools, analysis, and resources that create strategic opportunities.

The International Sales Analyst II is responsible for frequent and wide-ranging reporting and analysis that will support a larger scope of business within the International Distributor Region. Creation and updating of retail space planning tools in partnership with the International team and ensuring all information and analytics are communicated for the successful achievement of sales plans & sustained, profitable growth.

  • Collect, cleanse and organize data from various sources to support analysis

  • Create reports and data visualizations through varied tools to inform complex sell thru/sell in summary reporting and analysis - identifying trends, patterns and potential opportunities

  • Utilize input from different stakeholders on team to capture all reporting needs

  • Collaborate with Retail, Merchants and Sales to develop retail space planning tools, driving analytics to maximize store layouts/floor plans - increasing sales and profitability

  • Communicate findings to team to help further analytical discussion

  • Skilled in identifying challenges and formulating creative, data-driven solutions

  • Detail oriented, ensuring data accuracy and the ability to present insights to varied stakeholders

  • Efficient in time management and multitasking

  • Collaborative contributor with strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at various levels, internal and external

YOUHAVE

  • Bachelor's degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years of professional experience in corporate retail, sales analytics or related fields with proficiency in data analysis tools, systems, and procedures required

  • Applied knowledge of retail math, pricing strategies, open to buy process, product allocation and/or retail sales analysis

  • Strong understanding of the footwear, apparel, and/or outdoor industry, including consumer buying behaviors and retail dynamics

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Proficient experience in manipulating data including statistical analysis and advanced math calculations
