Corporate Treasury Services Support - 10051



Overview

The position is responsible for bank-wide management of multiple, complex Treasury Management products or product lines for the purpose of generating and increasing product and service revenues for the Company. Responsibilities include performing market research, defining and communicating product strategy, performing product business planning - product pricing, profitability and positioning products to facilitate Treasury Management product and service sales across the Trustmark enterprise.



Responsibilities

    Performs market and product research evaluating market conditions and market problems in order to define, recommend and develop product opportunities and product development and distribution strategies. Research includes a full understanding of our products offered, the technology supporting the products, the competition (including other banks and other vendor solutions) along with regularly soliciting and assessing feedback from customers, Treasury Management Sales Representatives, and other sales channels (Retail Branch, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance other partners like Operations/Technology etc.).
  • Actively works internally with Treasury Management and Channel Sales partners (Retail Branch, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance, other partners like Operations/Technology etc.) evaluating market and customer need, defining ideas and opportunities for the development of new products, new product packaging or new services recommending pricing, distribution and marketing strategies. Works with Sales Channel Partners to plan and develop sales plans by product, market segment and specific customer that will result in increased opportunities for Treasury Management product and service sales.
  • As product evangelist, actively communicates and articulates the products value proposition providing continuous training as needed across the enterprise.
  • Conducts financial analysis as required on existing and new products and services offered to determine attainable market share and ongoing revenue potential/delivery costs. Using this data, manages each product and product line as an operating business determining and assessing product profitability and ultimately defining/refining sales, marketing and delivery strategies
  • Manages vendor and technology partner relationships as required. Attends technology and user conferences to maintain knowledge of existing applications and new technology solutions offered by our vendor partners.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Level III additional responsibilities:

  • Goal of position is to eventually assume responsibility for the Product Management Manager role within the Corporate Treasury Management area.
  • Oversees product and technology upgrades across the product portfolio. Works with 3rd party vendors as required to obtain documentation, APIs and requirements specifications. Facilitate the preparation of features and functionality documentation in support of the product upgrade.
  • Coordinates new product roll-outs across CTS Sales and Support, IT, and Operations groups. Facilitates all testing and training beforehand. Clarify requirements and use cases to ensure a common understanding of project scope. Acts as key liaison and manages expectations of key sponsors and vendor partners related to timing, functionality and back-office requirements needed to support a successful go live.
  • Front line point of contact for Issue Escalation and Resolution across product portfolio. Manages the dialogue and case tracking between FI and vendor to properly triage and revolve issues and ensure proper documentation is captured.
  • Serves as back up for remaining products within the Corporate Treasury Services product suite.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 -10 years product management experience in a commercial banking organization
  • Thorough knowledge of Treasury Management Products, Deposit Products, Lending Products, Internet Banking Products and Solutions - looking for someone with previous Treasury Management Product Commercialization experience in a bank size equivalent to Trustmark
  • Possess financial analysis capability to create product business case, justification, revenue assessment and ability to manage product suite as a business line - understanding and implementing product profitability methodology
  • Strong analytical, assessment and planning skills
  • Creativity and ability to manage a product portfolio from solution concept to sales and support ready
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal to support product design, development of sales and marketing plans, sales training, ability to articulate sales strategy
  • Spreadsheet, Word and PowerPoint expertise
  • Proven leadership skills

Level III additional qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 8+ years product management experience in a commercial banking organization
  • CTP designation
  • Ability to turn concepts into project requirements, perform requirements gathering and appropriate documentation which lead to successful feature development and timely project completion
