Job Summary
The Auburn University RFID Lab is seeking a Student Data Analyst to join the Data Team, where you will work on real-world projects involving data analysis, automation, and problem-solving. This role is ideal for students looking to gain hands-on experience in data processing, analytics, and workflow automation while contributing to innovative research and industry solutions.
Essential Functions

  • Develop and automate data workflows for analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with researchers, engineers, and industry partners to solve complex data problems.
  • Analyze datasets to extract meaningful insights and identify trends.
  • Adapt quickly and take initiative in a fast-paced research environment.


Minimum Qualifications
* Must be currently enrolled as an Auburn University undergraduate student.

Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a desire to tackle real-world challenges.
  • Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and adapt to new technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of Python (for scripting, automation, or data analysis).
  • Basic proficiency in Excel for organizing and analyzing data.


Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with SQL (querying, filtering, and managing datasets).
  • Knowledge of APIs or workflow automation tools.
