Top 3 Skills required to do this job:

1.Know your way around Excel and Oracle (preferably but any ERP system would work) Excel - a lot of quality control checks on data coming out. Know the formulas very well and maybe write some HTML code. Oracle - sometimes they get into the database and its an Oracle system. This is also where the data is going and how it needs to be configured to go into it.

2. Maintenance background, especially with assembling and disassembling parts

3. DOD experience within 5 years. - this will make it easier to onboard, especially if they have received a CAC card in the past. It will also help them understand the lay of the land and speak the language. Other Skills: SQL Querying would be a bonus. Self motivation - can't be afraid to ask customer for work, detail oriented, willing to dig in with the customer to get the necessary information to get correct data. The manager is really high on anyone with logistics experience (VP really high on this). What is the Business Challenge you are trying to solve? This work will help consolidate old technologies down and make it a one stop shop down to one computer system instead of people having to access multiple systems just to try and accomplish a task.

Who all will this position interact with and what is the team makeup/dynamic?

Team of 12 currently and 5 are Delta Point employees. Interaction depends on the team that is supported. Work with OBWI branch the most. They fall under Air Force Sustainment Command. There are times when they go see the customer out in their location to gather info. There could be chances to travel to other bases on the contract (Tinker, Wright Patterson, or Robbins AFB).

Position Summary:

The Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO)/Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul - Supply (MRO-S) Functional Management Office (FMO) requires the support of a Logistics Analyst. This position will provide support in logistics, planning and execution between Logistics Capability Initiatives (LCI) and MROi.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with Subject Matter Experts to develop understanding of logistics business processes and work business process re-engineering. Supports logistics transformation activities planning and execution. Develops various artifacts for customer delivery. Applies technical knowledge to support various teams in any activities as required. Support data validation, application testing, and go-live activities.
