We are currently seeking an exceptional customer service professional to join us as a Physical Logistics Specialist

We are looking for an experiencedPhysical Logistics Specialist to assist in organizing and aligning our distribution operations in support of our Government Programs. You will provide tactical guidance and supportto warehouse teams in support of the Senior Strategic Program Manager in ways that promote the company's culture. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing projects of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner. The goal is to ensure that all warehouses consistently deliver excellent service to our customers.

About you

  • Bachelor's degree in related field is preferred.
  • Ensure Quality Work Instructions for operations are implemented across the warehousing operations in accordance with the requirements and flow-downs in the contracted SOW.
  • Share best practices, and close gaps in documentation and/or understanding as needed.
  • Assist with tactical issue resolution; performed via frequent in-warehouse presence and operational knowledge/experience.
  • Assist in improving performance of key suppliers and transportation carriers to support execution of program needs at optimized cost.
  • Provide operational coverage for tactical execution during surge demand periods, special project implementation, or when staffing levels are short.
  • Assist with coordinating disposal events and shelf life recertifications as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience in CMS program management and warehouse operations.
  • Experience using tcmIS application to execute supply chain functions and to utilize data to deliver value to customer stakeholders.
