Position Summary:

IEM is looking for a Full Time- Functional Lead to join our team!

Primary Location:

  • Candidates can originate from anywhere in United States or Puerto Rico.
  • Candidates will work remote and travel to client place at Puerto Rico as per business
  • All remote work environments require the ability to maintain minimum Internet speeds of 25 Mbps upload and 3 Mbps download, as well as a ping rate of 100 ms or less during working hours, regardless of the type and number of devices using your Internet connection. You must also have account privileges and access to your Internet service provider account during working hours for the purposes of maintaining the Internet connection, if needed.

Travel Requirements:

  • This position requires occasional travel to work site in Puerto Rico to complete work assignments or attend meetings.

Essential Functions:

  • Supports the business process design and functional design development process.
  • Develop and maintain functional and technical requirements traceability matrices across all AMI integrations.
  • Support the review and approval process for requirements and functional design deliverables
  • Supports testing and defect resolution processes as needed.
  • Advises LUMA project and business resources as the Subject Matter Expert for functional information management across core connected systems to Oracle CC&B and all Meter Reading systems, among others.
  • Supports knowledge transfer to technical resources for functional requirements and design decisions.
  • Maintain deliverables repository of functional and design documents created during multiple implementation projects.
  • Ensures all functional deliverables adhere to LUMA IT standards and policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Follow all policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analysis or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years Business Analysis or related experience
  • Experience with SDLC methods and tools including but not limited to requirements gathering, design documentation, workshop facilitation, defect tracking and testing support
  • 3-5 years Electric Utility experience
  • Understanding of the typical business critical utility processes and their relationship to key systems (CIS, GIS, OMS, etc.).
  • MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with CC&B, Outage Management Systems, Meter Data Management Systems and Geographical Information Systems.
  • Bilingual proficiency in written and oral communication (Spanish and English)
