Description

In this role, you will be under general supervision of attending Electrophysiologists and Nurse Practitioner Supervisor. You will oversee at-home remote monitoring of pacemaker, ICD, and ILR.

Salary range: $32.77/hr - $43.22/hr

Qualifications

Required:

  • Knowledge in ECGs, pacemaker & ICD programming.
  • Skill in writing grammatically correct routine business correspondence such as brief transmittal memo.
  • Skill in writing concise, logical, grammatically correct analytical reports to explain patient progress and charting.
  • Skill in reading English words, simple sentences and numbers on documents so they can properly be compiled and filed.
  • Skill in reading medical documents, such as correspondence from health professionals.
  • Ability to speak on a one-to-one basis using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain information, explain policies and procedures, and explain medical treatment procedures.
  • Skill in speaking and with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds to explain policies, procedures and treatment in the EP Cardiology Clinics.
  • Skill in fostering a stimulating accepting learning environment.
  • Skill in working as part of a team; collaborating with other staff members.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers.
  • Skill in analyzing information, problem situations, practices or procedures to define the problem or objective and formulate logical and objective conclusions.
  • Skill in performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature.
  • Skill in performing under the stress of frequent interruptions and/or distractions.
  • Skill in setting priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities.
  • Skill in working independently and following through on assignments with minimal direction.
  • Knowledge of cardiology terminology and disease conditions sufficient to communicate with medical faculty and staff.
