About the role

The Clinical Education Training Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering creative and effective educational programs and content for initial training and the ongoing clinical education of the TCAR field sales organization. The person in this role will focus their time on the initial New Hire Training continuum through TCAR clinical certification, ensuring clinical training is comprehensive and consistent in its messaging. They will also have responsibilities for the field sales organizations' continued education post certification. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient health and outcomes, learning and development, as well as a proven track record showing a strong commitment to process excellence and compliance.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Update and deliver comprehensive and effective clinical training content and materials through the New Hire Training continuum focused on building a firm clinical foundation to help drive TCAR adoption and maintain outstanding patient outcomes
  • Deliver and support clinical training programs focused on TCAR products with topics ranging from imaging, clinical benefits, economic benefits, new research and clinical data, and emerging techniques.
  • Drive continued field education of all commercial field personnel via multiple training mechanisms to include, but not limited to:

    • Role Play
    • Online Courses
    • Instructor led programs
    • Self-Study materials
    • Imaging platforms
    • Learning management system modules


  • Support the development and implementation of tools and technology to drive efficiency and effectiveness of clinical education.
  • Stay abreast of current topics and techniques by establishing peer to peer relationships and engaging with HCPs (including interventionalists, anesthesiologists, allied health, and other healthcare professionals) in order to develop high quality clinical education content. This will include field personnel in field case observations.
  • Be a proactive advocate for adherence to all legal, regulatory and compliance policies.
  • Create course agendas and manage logistics for various training programs in collaboration with the Clinical & Sales Training team.
  • Be a resource for the field team for questions, asset location, and collaborative initiatives.



Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years Clinical Sales Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience with prior experience in TCAR and Cardiovascular Medical Device industry preferred
  • Flexibility to Travel75% of working time. Overnight travel, inclusive of workweek and weekends will be required.
  • Proven ability to learn complex technology/clinical applications required
  • Proficiency with Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Adobe) and media editing platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Familiarity with the medical device industry, laws and regulations governing medical device manufacturers and compliance
  • Excellent negotiation and collaboration skills required
  • Must demonstrate strong commercial and business acumen
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) - see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt, non-sales roles may also include variable compensation, i.e., annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
