Job Description

Torch Technologies is seeking a Aerospace Engineer to support the Air & Missile Defense BU, preforming the following duties listed below.

• Ensure engineering activities (analysis, design, development, implementation, and monitoring) meet established requirements.
• Facilitate process development and implementation and production processes and assist with the update technical documentation.
• Work on a team of software developers, and analysist supporting various M&S activities.
• Ability to develop presentations to provide project status updates to government customers.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, or a related technical discipline and 2-5 years related experience.
• Must beproficient with agile software development processes, for rapid product development.
• Excellent communication skills - both oral and written - and possess analytical skills to identify and fault isolate problems/issues, accurately assess relevance of information, generate, and evaluate alternatives, and provide solution recommendations.
• Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to work in a multi-disciplined environment with an adaptive personality.
• Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Linux/Unix, GitLab, Python, C/C++, Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required.
