Messenger Dispatcher

As the Messenger Dispatcher, the individual will supervise him/herself and a team of 3 messengers and, all customer relationships within the Building daily.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and dispatch messengers for timely pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor and track messenger routes to ensure efficiency.
• Utilize real-time tracking systems to manage assignments.
• Provide route guidance based on train schedules and delays.
• Maintain records of deliveries, schedules, and messenger availability.
• Communicate effectively with messengers, clients, and management.
• Address delays and troubleshoot logistical issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of NJ/NY rail systems, including NJ Transit, PATH, and Amtrak.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior dispatch or logistics experience preferred.
