The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 21.76 USD - 32.64 USD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives. Summary:

  • Promote + adhere to safety rules + guidelines for all work processes, refusing to settle for shortcuts to ensure safety is the highest priority within the factory
  • Perform all operations required to complete batches for use in filling operations - these operations include: weighing items, adding ingredients, following instructions, logging data, interfacing with support systems, verifying quality, tracking inventory and mixing elements together
  • Maintain a clean + welcoming workplace that complies with good manufacturing practices standards, 5S requirements + other established best practices

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow PPE requirements at all times
  • Adhere to GMPs and all other safety requirements (LOTO, lifting restrictions, pedestrian pathways, etc.)
  • Follow batching instructions to blend batches that meet all quality specifications - attention to detail is CRITICAL
  • Keep good documentation and records of batching steps and sanitizations performed
  • Use powered equipment like scrubbers, drum haulers, and bag lifters safely to assist in day to day duties
  • Attend shift change, safety/quality, and huddle meetings to ensure clear communication with teammates
  • Keep up to date with any assigned checks or audits in Redzone
  • Perform housekeeping duties as needed to promote a clean and safe working environment for the team
  • Cooperate with fellow mixologists and with other departments, (maintenance, quality, materials) to ensuresmooth operation of production lines

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • 3+ years of experience (consumer packaged goods preferred) as a compounder or blender
  • Experience working in a chemical blending environment
  • Understanding of software systems and interfaces
  • Demonstrated track record of integrity + work ethic
  • Familiarity with SAP and HAZWOPER/RCRA certification preferred, but not required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Requirements:

  • Candidates should have the ability to stand for a minimum of 8.5 hours a day, performing manual duties
  • Must be flexible to work weekends and overtime when needed
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written + orally in English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn + ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Sense of humor + a positive outlook with a "can-do" attitude!
