What role will you play?

You will manage a book of business and have regular interaction with brokers and key insurance markets as well as develop relationships with portfolio companies and third-party prospects in order to ensure the Macquarie Insurance Facility is integrated across insurance placements and renewal processes. In addition to overseeing your own portfolio of accounts and related renewals, you will engage with deal teams across Macquarie to ensure insurance due diligence and transactional liability solutions are contemplated and managed for each transaction. You will also meet with portfolio companies and understand their insurance requirements, their current programs and any potential changes to the business that will affect insurances.
Salary range for this position: $155,000 - $175,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. What you offer

  • 5+ years of experience in the commercial insurance industry
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to deal with brokers, insurers, and clients, both internal and external
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Insurance broker license is required
