Summary Statement:

This position will be responsible for all recruitment and oversees onboarding activities. The employee will also be responsible for creating internal career paths, identifying high potential employees, engaging and retaining talent, and assisting in other HR functions as needed.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Source and screen incoming resumes to determine which candidates meet the requirements of the position. Source and attract candidates by utilizing job boards, social media and community resources.
  • Conduct interviews to narrow down the number of potential candidates. Schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Onboard new hires appropriately, to ensure they have clear expectations and are adding value to the organization.
  • Develop processes to assess current and temporary workforce to guide partner promotion and development.
  • Develop and manage community relationships to ensure candidate pipeline is active.
  • Design and implement overall recruiting strategy.
  • Coordinate drug screens and background checks.
  • Collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs.
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
  • Prepare recruitment materials for job postings and job fairs.
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
  • Source training opportunities to support employee development.
  • Create and present training materials as needed.
  • Assists the department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees
  • Other duties as assigned


Other Requirements (Education, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):

  • Associate's degree and 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical skill with attention to detail.
  • Extensive working knowledge of PC functions and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, works independently and displays initiative. Must display ability to work within a team environment and provide cross functional support.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Basic knowledge of employment law.
  • Extensive knowledge of social media and on-line job sites.
