Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing the following services or for supervising the Project Management team members that perform these services:

    Primary contact and liaison for owner and principal partner entities for the contract, design, systems, procedures, and related deliverables
  • Develops project specific procedures and documentation, and consults with Owner on design and construction contracts and related A/E systems for the project.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and implement process improvements within healthcare systems.
  • Ensures contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications comply with construction/project requirements
  • Obtains, maintains, and manages data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, architects, engineers, and other project-related entities
  • Represents owner, project and related parties in public forums and meetings
  • Manages project controls, cost, and performance activities and procedures, project logistics, organization, systems and project closeout
  • Identify potential risks to project success and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Leads in project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, ensuring collaboration among team members.
  • May supervise the work and performance of others, including, PMs', Assistant PMs', CMs' and other project staff as assigned.
  • Provide direction, mentorship, and coaching to team members.
  • Ensure that team members have the necessary skills and resources to perform their tasks effectively.
  • Coordinates, directs, and monitors activities of construction management staff, contractors, engineers, architects, and related performing entities
  • Ensures project team adheres to safety requirements
  • Manages bid phase services, as may be required by the client
  • Ensure clear and effective communication across all levels of the project, from ground-level team members to executives.
  • Maintain transparency and provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and adjustments.
  • Track project progress against defined milestones and KPIs.
  • Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Provide data-driven insights and make recommendations to improve the project's outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager and an additional 5 years of experience as a Senior Project Manager supervising staff required.
  • Advanced knowledge and application of master planning, A/E solicitation, project development, design-phase management, construction estimating, cost, project controls/scheduling, documentation, engineering/construction principles, contracts, delivery methods required.
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products, and experience with project-related systems such as Procore and Primavera required.
  • Experience managing construction projects of 300M+ required.
  • Trauma 1 Hospital construction experience is desired but not required.
  • Public Agency experience required.
  • PMP Plan Development experience required. PMP Certification is optional.
  • DBIA experience and/or Alternative Delivery Method experience required. DBIA Certification is optional.
  • LEED AP and/or LEED certification experience required. LEED Certification is optional.
  • Master Planning/Programming experience is desired.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The Salary range for this position is $150,000-$170,000.
