Description

The Branch Operations Manager is responsible for daily oversight of branch locations in a designated market. This includes the supervision of branch staff in addition to management of the branch operations' policies and procedures to ensure quality control protocols are in place. Perform quality control checks while using discretion and independent judgement and make recommendations to the Senior Branch Operations Manager to ensure efficiency and continuous process improvement of the branches. The Branch Operations Manager will contribute to the strategic plan for branch operations and implement process improvements that support the efficient delivery of service to clients to include the management of consumer account relationships assigned to their portfolio. The primary areas of impact for this role are strategic planning, teller operations, new accounts, client experience and employee development.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Branch management and oversight of their market area
  • Develop and implement strategies for the delivery of quality and effective customer service.
  • Manage consumer account relationships assigned to the consumer line of business in their market
  • Able to initiate and respond to Consumer Loan questions from clients
  • Manages Relationship Banker Supervisor and Relationship Banker III's to performance
  • Relationship Banker scheduling and development
  • Monitors performance and completes performance appraisals for direct reports
  • Responsible for the balancing of the daily cash and ATM (if applicable)
  • Trains for and reviews new accounts to ensure all required documentation has been completed
  • Conducts cash and key audits for controls and compliance
  • Monitors Salesforce to ensure proper tracking of service needs utilizing Salesforce CSR's
  • Utilizes Salesforce daily for employee and client communications
  • Responsible for all branch operations duties and monitors workflow to ensure consistency
  • Recommends new procedures that may foster more consistency within the branches
  • Assists clients with issues or requests and takes on any duties of an RB, as needed
  • Works and collaborates across lines of business with internal clients
  • Keeps the Senior Branch Operations Manager informed of quality control checks and findings
  • Annual budget and planning responsibilities
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Qualifications:

High School Diploma and/or GED required. Minimum of three to five years of management experience in a banking environment. Must be able to work independently, have well developed people skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of management. The ability to travel to all locations is a requirement for the position.
