Program Outline
- Spend a significant amount of time shadowing managers on all aspects of corrugating business
including sales, customer service, production, design, quality, and scheduling. - Spend a significant amount of time on the plant floor shadowing supervisors and seasoned
employees on plant production processes including a corrugator, five converting pieces of equipment including die cutters or presses and a full shipping operation. - Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner while in the production area.
- Work closely with internal supporting departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Consults with leadership on the development of their team's strategy.
- Keeps up-to-date on external best practices and relevant changes to their field/area; communicates
updates to leadership. - Qualify and develop sales pipelines through targeting prospects and initiating contact utilizing various
methods of sales lead generation. - Develop business plans to meet personal and company sales objectives.
- Provide accurate market feedback and industry trends.
- Assist management to support and develop relationships and growth opportunities within new and
existing accounts. - Actively pursue cost reduction opportunities and identify alternative means to provide value to a
prospect/customer. - Work on designing and streamlining applicable processes within the organization to save money and time.
- Work as a team member to help drive projects and tasks to completion through effective
prioritization, work planning, resource allocation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required; Sales / Marketing or BSBA preferred
- Solid work ethic comprised with high levels of motivation, passion and engagement
- Ability to work independently
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Commitment to outstanding customer service with internal and external colleagues
- Patience and desire to participate in a highly developmental and detailed leadership track with
long-term loyalty to the organization
