Production Supervisor

Salary: Based on experience

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and develop machine center operators and support staff.
• Motivate team to meet production targets and maintain high safety standards.
• Communicate production updates to Project Managers and the Plant Manager.
• Address quality and schedule risks that may impact customers.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Team for immediate equipment support.
• Identify cost control and process improvement opportunities.
• Conduct annual reviews and ensure operators have necessary resources.
• Foster a safe work environment and enforce policies.
• Lead with transparency and build trust across all levels.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably in lumber mills or wood processing.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical manufacturing processes.
• Experience with equipment operation and training.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Knowledge of product standards (APA-PRG-320) and manufacturing SOPs.
• Ability to manage stress and meet deadlines.
• First Aid, CPR, AED trained.
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree preferred).
