Position Summary:

Methode Electronics Power Solutions Group is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the work of the production team, ensuring that internal volume, cost and quality goals are achieved.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Directly supervises employees in production or assembly positions.
  • Responsible for hiring, training, assigning and directing work, and performance management of employees.
  • Responsible for monitoring production and using production tracking tools to ensure production goals are met.
  • Responsible for assisting EHS with environmental reporting and monitoring.
  • Review and recommend manpower and facility requirements based on forecasts.
  • Contribute to the development of processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other departments and divisions of the corporation in establishing and carrying out responsibilities.
  • Support ISO 9001 Roles, Responsibilities, and Authorities.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of related experience and/or training
  • Technical training or experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance preferred
  • Ability to lead production team through various production requirements
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage others effectively

The base pay hiring rate expected for this position is: $60,000-$80,000.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally do immediate reaching and overhead reaching to perform various duties, frequent standing for varied amounts of time to perform various duties, frequent walking for varied amounts of time to perform various duties. Squat or bend to perform various duties. Occasionally climb stairs.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
