We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate commercial asphalt and concrete projects from pre-construction through completion. This role ensures projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The Project Manager will also be responsible for managing field staff, communicating with stakeholders, and addressing changes in project scope or budget as needed.



Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

    Supervise and coordinate field staff, ensuring efficient execution of work.
  • Oversee all project phases, from planning to completion, while maintaining schedules and budgets.
  • Ensure project safety by enforcing best practices and compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
  • Train and develop employees for future advancement within the company.
  • Maintain professional relationships with contractors, property owners, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
  • Monitor labor and equipment needs to optimize scheduling and efficiency.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure completed work meets customer and company standards.
  • Review and manage subcontractor proposals, scopes of work, contracts, and performance.
  • Interpret and understand contract documents to ensure project profitability and alignment with company goals.
  • Regularly communicate with customers in a professional and responsive manner.
  • Collaborate with management to provide project updates, plan activities, and develop a two-week look-ahead schedule.
  • Participate in company and project-related meetings, including pre-construction, task, safety, and staff meetings.
  • Assist the estimating team by reviewing and interpreting project plans and specifications.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
  • Knowledge of construction paving, underground utilities, concrete, and grading practices.
  • Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass background/drug screening.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to perform in a high-production environment.

  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial asphalt or concrete maintenance projects.
