We are seeking a talented and technically skilled Art Editor to join our award-winning art and design team, who shares our passion for high-quality visual communication of science. Reporting to the Art Director for Nature, the ideal candidate will be an experienced scientific illustrator with great art working skills and attention to detail. About the Role The Art Editor willplay a crucial role in the production of scientific figures, diagrams, and graphics for publication. As an Art Editor, you will be responsible for both creating original scientific figures and restyling figures supplied by authors to ensure clarity, accuracy, and visual appeal. The role involves sizing, relabelling and redrawing figures; proofreading labels and other text; ensuring consistency of style; collaborating with Nature's art and subediting teams to ensure deadlines are met. You will have the opportunity to work with ground-breaking research for the world's leading scientific journal, Nature, as well as joining a supportive and collaborative team. Role Responsibilities:

The salary offer may vary based on work experience, education, skill level and equity.
