As an ML/AI Engineer, you will support the design, development, and implementation of innovative AI/ML solutions. Your curiosity and technical skills will contribute directly to creating and enhancing AI-driven applications and products.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Data, Engineering) to build AI/ML systems aligned with business objectives.

• Design and develop machine learning models, including selecting appropriate algorithms and datasets.

• Train, test, validate, and deploy machine learning models to production.

• Maintain and optimize data pipelines and infrastructure.

• Extend and improve existing machine learning frameworks and libraries.

• Conduct experiments and statistical analyses to evaluate and enhance model performance.

• Develop and integrate APIs, ensuring smooth functionality and scalability.

• Stay up to date with emerging ML/AI technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

• Implement state-of-the-art Generative AI models and workflows (ASR, LLM, TTS, RAG, & Search).

• Maintain and extend RingCentral's internal AI platform.

• Build Agentic AI products to drive business value.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• 2+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models and solutions.

• Proficiency in Python (preferred), Java, or R for developing robust code.

• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or scikit-learn.

• Proficiency in ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), Generative AI, deep learning, NLP, and statistical methods.

• Experience developing REST APIs, and working with databases (NoSQL, relational).

• Extensive knowledge of cloud platforms including GCP (Vertex AI, BQML, Duet AI), AWS (Bedrock, Elasticsearch, SageMaker, EC2), and Azure ML.

• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, software architecture, and software engineering principles.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Demonstrated success collaborating within agile, cross-functional teams.
