Job Description The GE Lab Technician provides support for physicians and RN's throughout endoscopy procedures by preparing, providing and caring for instruments and equipment, obtaining specimens, and maintaining a sterile field where applicable. Responsibilities Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of gastroenterology procedures and equipment. Performs all responsibilities/duties required as defined in the scope of service, to ensure that the unique nature of the client is addressed. Maintains current knowledge/certification/licensure. Pursues professional growth and development. Maintains supplies/inventory for department. Performs all responsibilities/duties required by the Gastroenterology Lab as defined in the scope of service to ensure that the unique nature of the client is addressed.
